Duchess, this is Infelice from the Watch. I bought that version of the Hobbit as well - just for my benefit really and you're quite right - its adorable. Its appeal even extended to my nephew who was at the time 5 years old. He was captivated by it especially the depictions of Smaug.
He held Smaug in morbid fascination - kept asking me for reassurance that Smaug was only make-believe.
It was his favourite book to read/look at for quite a while - almost the perfect baby-sitting aid. The beauty of life is you don`t have to be modernly beautiful to live it. (C.S. Lewis)
