Here's a trivia test for you to try!
When you finish it, you can find many more Tolkein tests to take!

9 out of 10

Got #9 wrong

I did so badly I don't even want 2 say...I did get #9 right, however.... And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

I got 9 out of 10 as well. I missed the one about Bilbo's age. I knew he passed the Old Took, but I couldn't remember how old he was...

I got 10/10 on all the Ender ones. Hee.

8 on the MN one, but that wasn't fair. The last question says "True or False: Eremis originated from Esmerei" - I put False and got it wrong, but it really is false. It's Esmerel, not Esmerei.

9 on the first Covenant quiz (the one about Lord's Keep) - I miscounted Lords. Only 8 on the Warward one - battle has never been my strong suit. 9 on the general one - I missed the last one (I haven't read the Second Chronicles in a while...). 10 on the Ranyhyn one - yay!

7 on the Sabriel one, but again, that wasn't fair. The answer to the question "What was the name of Sabriel's father?" was "none of the above." They put Emeritus. His name is Terciel. Oh, well. Seven for the seven bells, I guess.

Returning to Tolkien: I got 7 on the Scouring of the Shire one - but yet again, it wasn't fair. For #10 they put "New End" but it was actually "New Row."

I'm having way too much fun with these...

Got 8/10. Could've sworn Grishnakh was an Uruk-Hai (strange that they called them that - it translates as 'Orc-Folk'). Also coulda sworn that the Cirith Ungol bit involved some wearing of Orc clothing...

As for the other questions - all easy. Imlad Morgul = Morgul Valley (that place where Minas Morgul was).
