My favorite character was always Eowyn, mostly because she's the most complex (imo). Besides, she reminds me of myself. I am clinically depressed, and that's how Eowyn comes across. Too many times I've felt the terrible pain of unrequited love, as she does. Her family is eroded with pain, as was mine.

Plus she overcomes all that. She's my hero.

Gollum! Like Thomas Covenant I tend 2 root 4 the twisted, abandoned, stuggling, loner, underdog! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, AhiraEdited by: danlo60 at: 2/11/03 7:19:44 am

((((zahir))))

.. I suffer from 'delusions of grandeur' so I identify mostly with Aragorn and Legolas. I see in them great nobility and I like that .. probably particularly Aragorn. But I cant help liking Legolas!!

At least I'm a Aragorn-ish wannabe ..

I loved all Tolkien's characters .. he is like Donaldson great at animating his characters.

Hmmmm. Just wondering why this was seemingly addressed to me specifically. Not that I'm insulted or anything. Just curious.

Zahir, could u post the link 2 ur Fantasy project somewhere in The Hangar (perhaps in Bardo's Collections--and mayb offer us an xcerpt from time 2 time?)--it looks terribly interesting, thanx d And now Danlo looked in that direction, too.
