It's probably comparable 2 Children of Dune. Like Children, The Two Towers, when I 1st read LOTRs, 4 some reason, seemed like a small-relatively-insignificant book-so I kinda zipped thru it and dismissed it. God I can't BELIEVE I did that!! There is SO much info, beauty and majesty in that book!! The 2nd time I read it it blew my mind and made me c LOTRs in a totally different light. It now remains my fav book of the series! I LOVE ROHAN!!! Maybe it was the time element that 1st baffled me--is it just me--or do things seem 2 b moving @ a much quicker pace in Two Towers than in FOTR? I know I'm not the only 1 who intially dismissed Two Towers--I think some of my local friends did that 2--b4 I suggested they reread--like the TCTC, Neverness, Children of Dune and The Empire Strikes Back some things really r better the 2nd time around.
