LOL Skyweir! As way of an explanation of "bushhog": My last name is Bush, and there used to be a TV series called <i> Welcome Back Kotter</i> (about a teacher), and he called his class "Sweathogs". So I began (lovingly) calling my students the "Bushhogs". Thus I became the Bushhog!
Funny you should mention "bush pig". I have a picture of one in my classroom. Never really saw one called a bush hog. I think bush hog has something to do with a machine that clears brush and the like (at least here in America).

Well, I have won the toss and made the first move. I hope it survives cyber space. I am excited: last time I did something like this, it was by mail. We played for about a year then I lost the address, and the other player never bothered to check out why I didn't send any further moves. With email, this will be a lot better!
Now, if you'll tell Danlo and the others to hold down the noise so that we can concentrate, and watch those darts! One almost went through my shoe awhile ago!

I too am excited .. I am looking forward to a number of good games .. as my chess senses perceive there be a number of good games in you waiting to be played ..

I realise it will not be a quick game .. but I do hope with email .. it will not take as long as 12 months to play out the entire game ..

I suspect a Bobbie Fisher clone. To update you, 5 moves have been made thus far, and I've wiped up the water from around my chair. Actually it was cold outside Ahira's Hanger, and it was just the snow and ice melting as we sat by the fire. The darts have stopped momentarily as there seems to be a crowd gathering around the chess masters. My foot has been bandaged by Ahira's resident medical lady. Now, about those stonewall pawns... U're in the Master Pilot's bar in the Farsider's Quater silly! If u were in the Carvern of a Thousand Lightships u'd be close 2 the Hangar (w/an a!) but all u would c is The Snowy Owl sitting 2 rest w/a bunch of journeymen, nuerologicians & mechanics walking around doing their jobs! And the med-tech! They r no med-techs in this bar--it's every Pilot 4 himself--passing ur Jarcadian whore off as a med-tech, forsooth! C, now it's Lord Pilot Theoden playing heads games with us all!
