I haven't decided on all the games yet.

Last night I backed myself into a corner and made a bet, with a Packer fan mind you, that the Packers would beat the Pats on Sunday. I also bet her that the Bears would cover the spread against the Jets, so I guess that's two games I've picked so far.

The Reaper had that coming.

Ack! Can't get to the Watch. I need to check what chapter of Runes I am supposed to do for the dissection, can't remember. (I haven't been keeping up very well.) "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"

I had hoped to make note of a classical piece I wanted to discuss with Matrixman. I think it is a concerto by Berlioz. I was hoping to go to a store tomorrow to see if I can find it, since I chedcked my classical CD wallets tonight and did not see anything by that composer.

Hopefully it will be up by morning, so I can doublecheck the name of the piece.

duchess, I assume you're talking about Symphonie Fantastique. While doped up, Berlioz wrote a piece about a guy who is doped up, and has these crazy hallucinations about a woman. There are many many sites that talk about it. I just found this one, and it gives a good rundown:

It is a GREAT piece, and it is historically noteworthy for a couple of reasons. AND, the last movement has the tune to the Dies Irea, which is always cool. ____________
