Just because I did away with The Farsider's Quarters doesn't mean you can't post your link at the Hangar anymore. This is now the place to do it. I'll try to round up some of our favorite links, such as Kevin's Watch, Bookspot Family and The Badger's Den. Duchy! If you could find to new ASOIAF site and stick 'er here I'd really appreciate it.

Speaking of links--you know that in each forum there's a banner link to a pretty cool site. I think we need new sites in General Sci-Fi (All Sci-Fi is getting really cheesy in it's old age) and General Fantasy needs a much more interesting site, Bookspot? Hey there's an idea! WE probably need a new background there too, but I'll need to speak to MsM about that!

Kevin's Watch, the discussion forum for the official Stephen R. Donaldson webpage, is our sister site. Many Hangarites originally met there before creating this place. *****

Fantasy Book Spot is a great resource--very good interviews and a dedicated team of top notch reviewers. Jay Tomio and Dalerone, members here, are ace reviewers and admin over there... *****

If we ever do create a new author forum I really do hope it's Steven Erikson. In the meantime there's a beautiful board centering on the Malazan Empire *****

This is a link to a very good book review website. One of our members MinDonner (Joy) is a regular reviewer there.

www.reviewers-choice.com/

These are a couple of blogs from members here and/or the Watch where I like to drop by and say hello from time to time. Both are usually quite interesting, and written by people who happen to be talented writers:

Murrin's blog:

You can now link to FantasyBookSpot.com and the entire BookSpot Family through the Gen. Fantasy banner.

...and this just added: link to Fantastic Fiction UK through the Gen. Sci-Fi banner. Very good biographies and bibliographies of most Sci-Fi and Fantasy writers. *****

Cool link sites

Locus magazine (lots of news about the SF and F writing community)
www.locusmag.com

Emerald City (Cheryl Morgan's perzine. Reviews lots of books, I do not regularly agree with her reviews, but she's definitely worth a look. Cheryl talks about conventions she goes to, too.)
www.emicit.com

The Internet review of science fiction (Trying to put an independent critical voice regarding SF on the internet) Whole essays are restricted to subscriber, subscription is free AFAIK, and I've been a subscriber for over 2yrs and not been subject to huge spam attacks.
www.irosf.com

SF signal weblog (daily news about the world of SF)
www.sfsignal.com

SciFiction.com ( a website archiving classic SF short stories and new fiction, too) formerly sponsered and supported by SciFi cable. Now even though SciFi has withdrawn their support for new submissions, most of the archive is still there.
