If the time ever comes when we're looking for something else to dissect, my first choices would be:

Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand

Dune, by Frank Herbert (The thought of doing the whole series is terrifying, but the original book would be awesome.)

The Glass Bead Game, by Hermann Hesse

The Neverness series, by... ummm... damn, it's on the tip of my tongue.

I think all of these are filled with extraordinary substance, and would be incredible to go into in such depth. ____________

Well it's always been my plan to get to the point where we can dissect the Neverness series (though I'd rather soak it in than dissect it...) We just need some more readers. They're coming, be patient, they'll be here... *****

I'm surprised Highdrake didn't also suggest A Wizard from Earthsea and/or Gates of Fire. ******************************************************

Earthsea it should be! The first 3 books are very brisk and easy to get through. *****

Heh. Well, I always describe Earthsea (and therefore taoism) as calm, deep wisdom. I absolutely love them, and there is important stuff to be learned from them. Essential, imo. However, though there are certainly exciting moments, the books are not as exciting for me overall. The emotional, psychological, and/or philosophical complexities are not as extreme as they are in the books I suggested. (And I added GoF to the Watch's dissection suggestion thread a few days after the initial post. Can't believe I didn't have it on the original list!!) ____________
