76F/24C and sunny

It began cold this morning but warmed up a fair bit. It's shaping up to be a good weekend - we might even hit positive double digits.
Still, I'm not putting away my winter coat and boots until May.

Windy and chilly here today, with more rain in the forecast 'til this evening (altho the skies are blue and nearly cloudless right now). We *might* get to 55F, not counting the windchill. Brrrr.

But we could see 70 tomorrow, and 80 on Thursday and Friday.

We almost broke a record today: 82 F and gorgeous!

It's in the upper sixties today and gorgeous! All of a sudden the yards and fields are green instead of brown!

Cold and rainy. But I don't care...off work 'til Tuesday.

Do you guys ever get snow in that part of SA, Av? Or where you live Don Under, StevieG? Or is snow something exotic you have to drive to go see?

I live at the foot of a mountain which gets snow in winter, but we rarely (once every 20 years or so) get snow at our place. We get the odd frost, maybe half a dozen in winter.

When my son was about 1 year old, in 2004, we had snow falling but not settling at our place. He was fascinated - it was something special!

Snow the way it has been described in this thread would be exotic in the extreme.

Yeah, for about 30 mins. Then it would be awful.

We're getting our first touch of winter now. Lows in the single figures (around 7 - 8C) and highs around 15 - 20C in general. Today only made it to 15! Still sunny days, autumn is stable, but gettin a bit chilly!
