Poop jokes must be as old as human civilization itself. Er, anyway...spring is over! Summer officially started last Friday evening. Right now it feels like summer, temperature-wise. It's not a scorcher, but still pretty warm at 27 Celsius. Fortunately, humidity is only at 35% and there's a small breeze, so it's actually a very nice day. Mind you, we've had a number of thundershowers over the past weeks, so I'm bracing for a bad case of mosquitoes this summer, along with the canker worms. |

Oh Lord, after the snowiest winter on record, we have had rain on a virtual daily basis this spring and early summer. So not even talk to me about those little winged demons. I am covered with bites right now from an outdoor party we went to in between storms on Saturday, and the people sprayed their property before the party. I hate mosquitoes - they are Grilli little monsters. |

I nearly worship dragonflies - not only for their beauty - but because they eat little winged demons! I also love the toads who live in our yard. |

Yes, Moonwatcher is called Matrixman at the Watch. I like the Navajo interpretation of dragonflies, especially. Pure water. That would make sense, as I believe you would not find them too far away from water? And what is more precious in the desert than pure water? |
