The gas station down the road a bit from my house has the lowest grade unleaded at $3.60/gallon. :faint:

I wonder if we can declare our three vehicles as dependents on our taxes? :razz:

I had thought I would never see gas under $4/gallon again. Then it came under that. :shock:

Then I thought it would never get below $3/gallon again. And then it came under that. :shock:

And then I thought I would never see it get below $2/gallon. And it is under that. :shock:

Gas around here is currently under $1.70/gallon. :shock:

My household budget is dancing for joy! :happyrun:

Yeah, dropped dramatically here too thank goodness.

But still not to what it was when oil was last at the price it is now. :lol:

They're saying maybe another .25/gallon drop for us between now and Christmas. Gas at the cheap place near my house was $1.53/gallon yesterday. Wondering whether it'll ever be near $1/gallon again... :shock:

Just read an interesting piece on the price of diesel. And why food prices don't drop with it after rising with petrol increases.

Supposedly food prices are the only prices not dropping.

There was a catostrophic flood in Iowa and adjoining areas of the Midwest this year, and a lot of our food in the US comes from that area.

Throw in that a lot of farmers switched from growing food to growing stuff for biofuels, and you have a problem.
