Good early afternoon. While I do not have the flu, I do have allergies which are driving my sinuses nuts right now. I feel a sick day coming on - perhaps tomorrow. Since I have a few months' worth of sick days in my bank, which I will lose if I quit or retire, one of my goals this year is to start using them on days when I merely feel unwell, as opposed to days when I am so sick or hurt I cannot move, as has been the case for the past twenty years.

Actually, screw it. My head hurts badly enough that maybe I will stay home tonight.

Like an idiot, I headed into work today anyway, sinus headace and all. Yeah, I am dumb sometimes.

Oh well.

We are supposed to get a couple of inches of snow today/tonight, so hopefully that will wash some of the tree pollen out of the air!
