Having a blank space on my browser window where it would usually say the site name is bothering me a little. (That is, when it says " :: Index", for example.)
I take it it's an aesthetic decision not to have the board name above the option links in the header, but it's a simple job to delete that from the theme, then you can set the name setting in the general config and it'll display in the other places it's supposed to without appearing there.
On the other hand, I'll probably get used to it.

Are you talking about the title bar of the page?
