Had a narrow escape on our way back -- fell into one of those chaos thingies, had to fly by the seat of our pants, just amazing stuff. Didn't meet anybody wearing red rings, tho, thank goodness....

No, actually, we got back from vacation on time and just fine, and since then they've actually expected me to work for a living. :">

While we were in Oregon, I got hold of a copy of "War in Heaven" at Powell's Books in Portland. Cool stuff! Nice end to the series! Now if only I could find "Neverness".... <i></i>
