Yeah, that's what they tell me. :D

Turns out I dozed enough at the sleep study for them to get some good data after all. Turns out that I have severe obstructive sleep apnea (in other words I stop breathing in my sleep and body jerks awake to resume breathing). Throw in the funky thyroid, and no wonder I am and have been an exhausted mess - both the apnea and the thyroid condition can cause chronic fatigue!

They are going to schedule me to go in for another sleep study to fit me with a device called a CPAP. It will help me keep breathing in my sleep. That should help me sleep better period. :)

So if the CPAP works and the synthroid dose gets adjusted (and it is supposedly getting close) I should start feeling a million times better!! :cloud:

After years of this crap, that is beyond heaven! :cloud:

Apnea huh? That sucks. Were you waking up constantly as a result? And not knowing why?

We think my Daddy had apnea, though we were not aware of the name at the time before he passed.
From what I recall, he literally stopped breathing for as long as nearly half a minute (or so it seemed), then jerked awake to start breathing again. But, he never seemed to come to full wakefulness, so he didn't know he was doing it.

Mom, who passed before Daddy, used to say how blissfully silent those instances between his snoring was. But none of us knew what it meant back in the '70's...

Not that I subscribe to it, but one method that sleep experts suggest for remembering your dreams is to drink a couple of glasses of water before going to bed. That makes you wake up to go to the bathroom - usually when you are in the middle of an REM sleep. Thus whatever dream you were having is still vivid in your mind. Me, I'd rather not have to go in the middle of the night to pee just so I can remember my dreams. And I don't have to, since most of the time I can recall my dreams just fine the next morning. I love dreaming. I'd be depressed if I couldn't remember my dreams. It would be like a whole other part of my existence had died. But obviously, if you don't remember your dreams, then they're not something you'll miss.

The epic company move saga continues.
Yesterday I was ready to throttle people.Today, my supervisor looked ready to.
Years from now, I'm sure we'll look back on all this and laugh (assuming I'll still have a job with them).
The new building still isn't quite done, but we got in this week anyway, and it looks good.
Next weekend should be the final, final transfer of staff and furniture. Unless it isn't.

Hahaha, damn, epic seems to be the right word. Feels like you've been moving forever to me, and I only have to hear you mention it. :D Can't imagine what it must be like to be doing it. :D

Out of interest, how long has it been - the epic move?

It seems like you've been moving ever since I signed up to the hangar (which is entirely possible I suppose) - it must be a nightmare.

Heh, the epic adventure began in December. Yeah, it seems like I've been babbling on about it forever.
