Don't blame you. But the Watch has never lost more than a weeks posts in any attacks, so we're probably alright. And if there is a local backup, then no hack on the board can threaten that.

Lastly, I think there's a big difference between here, where, if I'm right, all the forums share the same domain, and the Watch, which has it's own domain. (And it's not phpbb that does the backups, it's the domain host. (And they'll probably be backups to tape or equivalent...perfectly safe from hacks.)

I keep telling everyone...it's a sign of the end! Of the Watch, that is. It will continue to malfunction until it implodes, paralleling what happens in the Last Chronicles. As soon as Donaldson completes The Last Dark, KW will disintegrate into the void of cyberspace...and the Hangar will be inundated by a mass arrival of KW refugees.

(I think Moses and the Pharoah appear at some point in this drama, but I can't be certain.) <i></i>
