This morning it was fine; when I tried from work tonight it was glacially slow (so much so that I gave up in disgust - my break was not long enough to deal with it); now that I am home it is either down or so slow it might as well be. ******************************************************

Yeah, I'm getting as far as the Blue background loading, and then it insists that it's done.

And even that takes forever.

More server work I can only imagine. (And the Internal Server Errors were really bad yesterday.)

The Watch errors are becoming intolerable. Spent half an hour trying to log on, then I quit. What kind of server is hosting KW? a pre-2000 Pentium machine run by some guy in Mongolia?? Sheesh. I'm starting to fear the errors will be a permanent thing. KW has not run smoothly since the major hack at the beginning of the year. The so-called server upgrade is turning into a joke.

Not that I want to sound like an ungrateful bastard. Okay, maybe I do. <i></i>

Whenever it gets really buggy my biggest fear is that the group reads and other important threads will be eaten. ******************************************************

It's not that bad MM. And we did get warned (eventually) that this month might be a little bumpy. In fact, they probably run reasonably well considering how computers work...i.e. sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

And you shouldn't worry too much Duchess. The phpbb's are regularly backed up, and IIRC, Vain even has a local backup which would contain the most important threads. (Although the Runes dissection might not be included in that one yet.)

It'll all work out eventually. It usually does.

Yeah, but the ezboard supposedly backs up their stuff, and in the big hack here the hackers attacked supposedly attacked the backups as well as the boards...that is why so much was lost.

I guess after that hack, I am just plain paranoid. ******************************************************
