I'll take the spring ducky. All of the little lakes around here have baby ducks, geese, and swans. The baby swans are as big as the adult ducks.

And no, none of the messages were begging me to come back as a mod. As far as I know, not a soul has commented on wanting me back as a mod other than Jay, who told me in response to my resignation PM to tell him when I start feeling better. I do not think that anyone even realizes (or cares) that I am not a mod there any more. Which is actually fine. ******************************************************

I care, (((Duchess))). There's few of us Old Guard left (not to mention the Older Guard like Danlo ). Did you see my post before you were unmodded? I think the Watch is already less for the loss of your stewardship.

But if you're happy, that's the important thing. Hope you reconsider in the future, tho. You'd probably be a better fit for Announcements than I am (I've always had a kind of draconian view of that forum, and the power is tempting... ). ________________

If my work ever settles down, and I start to feel better, I might consider it. But last night I was in the bathroom all night at work again being sick. My quickly approaching vacation might help, though. It would be really nice to able to go for more than a week without diarrhea! Or if I were to get it, to get it in resonse to something I ate (like super spicy food or too much fiber) rather than constant stress. ******************************************************

Do what I need to do and never do--exercise! I'm serious I really do need to play lots of b-ball. Now that I've barely survived my first real year of special ed-I've realised that working w/o exercise drove me insane. You have to have something to vent off the stress if not it's bad for the brain and, as you have pointed out bad for the body, as well... *****

I've been in the bathroom a lot tonight here at work. My vacation cannot come soon enough.

I took the time I should have been doing housework this morning and did something that I love - I printed out and started playing with some photos.

I need to steal more time to do things that I love.

Everything's back to normal-but I just can't hang there today: too much backbiting about the MidEast and Pink Floyd *****

Sounds like I didn't miss much in not having power the last couple of days following the Monday night storms. ******************************************************

I just called Luci--NY and MD (Esmer and Creator) switched on and off and now can't get on--Luci can't-we can't-it's a nationwide shutout. I emailed Vain and Luci emailed Jay...with the heat (taxing national energy usage) and the lightning-anything's possible. Or OHNO terrorists!!! *****

This morning I am still getting
Quote:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'ihugny_kwatch.kw_config' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM kw_config

Line : 213
File : common.php

all over the place.

It might well be the heat. I am not sure where the Watch server is based, but it is dangerously hot in large parts of the east coast, Great Lakes, and Midwest again today. Some storms are due to come through tomorrow and lower the temps about 20-30 degrees and wipe out some of this horrid humidity as well. ******************************************************

It appears as if the watch is now down altogether:
Quote:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

I hope this means that the admins have taken it down to work on it??? ******************************************************
