Yeah, I guess Vain forgot to pay the bill.

I wish there was some way to back the boards up-it's kind of scary when only one person has access to the entire technical workings. What if something happened to him? Then we'd really be screwed-we need to talk about this admins.

My acct. and any combination of passwords was rejected on Forumer...

Have asked Vain for admin access on forumer, but might be quicker just to reregister.

I was terrified the hosts had gone crazy and wiped the whole lot...it's not the tech stuff I'm worried about...just the data...the posts.

I'll mention it to Vain, and ask the tech guy at my new job. We host stuff...maybe they can rent me a gig of server space cheap. Even if I have to run a manual backup once a week or something. There must be a way.

Only Vain has access to everything? Security-wise, that's probably a good policy. But yeah, if something happens to him, I guess both KW and the Hangar are up the creek.

I've got...uh...9 I think.

You might be able to use the same one by putting newusername+oldemail@whatever. Not sure if it works with any email address, of just Gmail ones...otherwise sign up for a gmail or hotmail account...you'd never have to use it again, just to activate your account.

That alternate KW forum screwed me when I tried registering. I did, but I never got the e-mail link that would've allowed me to activate my account there. Bah.

Unfortunately, forumer does not accept the +username@gmail.com addresses. Believe me, I've tried.
And as far as I can tell, gmail is the only email service that allows that.

But I have used heartoftheflame+[username]@gmail.com for all GT alt accounts that I create, ever since Paolo taught me about doing so.
