Menolly glad to hear that you son is enjoying the Library its always good to keep them active and interested in things. :D I managed to run 10K this morning so I am quiet happy with my mornings work. Trying to get fit for the end of October as I hope to be running the Dublin Marathon. :happyrun:

Have been busy all week running errands like crazy before work, then going to work. Today I ran my younger son down to the high school for his driver's training class, stopping off for lunch with him at the Big Boy on the way, and stopping off for groceries on the way home. Later on I will have to pick him up. All I really want, though, is a loooooooooong nap.

Tomorrow we (my younger son and I) are hoping to go see the new Star Wars movie, then have lunch at Applebee's. My husband has been threatening me with some sort of surprise pampering and/or other enjoyable activity along with dinner tomorrow night. I do not think he understands that all the pampering I want is a looooooooooong nap.

Still waiting for the results of the biopsy on the thing they took out of my colon last week. They said it looked like a pre-cancerous growth. I think it must have been either benign or pre-cancerous rather than cancerous, or I would have gotten phone calls by now. :) The post-colonoscopy diarrahea finally stopped on Tuesday, so I am finally feeling better (other than being tired from a busy week at work and in personal life). :)

I think I might take a nap, with the cell phone beside me. That way when my son needs to be picked up, the phone call will wake me up. :) 8)

I didn't position myself to take any real interesting pictures at the Games. It would've been nice to wander around town and check things out, but sadly, sightseeing wasn't part of our schedule. But the long car ride out of the city was nice, getting to see wide open prairie sky and fields.

Damn...glad things are going better Duchess...hope they continue so.

You don't drive MM? *sigh* The advantages of living where there's public transport and stuff I guess...if you don't drive here, it's hard as hell to go anywhere. I hate driving. :D

Went to see Clone Wars with my younger son, then went out to lunch. Now waiting for my husband to arrive home. He is taking me out somewhere this afternoon/evening and will not tell me where. Just that it will make me happy and relaxed. :?

Got the biopsy results back: the polyp was benign, but possibly pre-cancerous (it was an andenoma), so looks like it will be a butt scope every five years.

I'm hoping for a better night at work tonight - last night I did not even get a chance to go to the bathroom until seven hours into my shift.

Wow, what a busy and terrible week at work this last week was! :faint: I am so glad that it is over. :D Today I have no plans more strenuous than going to the grocery store. 8)

Tomorrow one of my sons has a soccer tournament all day down in Bedford. We will be there all day long, braving the forecast thunderstorms - and I will be buying a cooler full of drinks and lots of picnic type foods. :) My son has already requested fresh cherries.

It was hellishly hot and humid today at the soccer tournament. Even what little wind there was felt hot. We are all wilted now. :faint:
