We went out to lunch on Friday afternoon when my Jeep was getting an oil change. While we were eating lunch at the restaurant, I was in a mischievious mood, and told my husband about the very sexy undergarments I was wearing. He had trouble concentrating on his food after that. ******************************************************

In our silly hidden think tank I wrote:

Even though I tryed to go to some simpler and blank forum changes the Hangar didn't seem the same after-that's probably why you'll be hard pressed to have me remove the new background. I didn't want anything flashy or "outer-spacey" but when I saw this one at deviant art I immediately thought of the Urtuk pass into the southern White Mts in Black Jade and north of the Wall in ASOIAF. In fact I miss the old background to Snowy Old chat so much I think I'll try to track it down today-- Yeah BABY!!!!

Todd Rundgren - Bang on the Drum All Day
I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to play
I just want to bang on the drum all day
Ever since I was a tiny boy
I don't want no candy
I don't need no toy
I took a stick and an old coffee can
I bang on that thing 'til I got
Blisters on my hand because
(chorus)

When I get older they think I'm a fool
The teacher told me I should stay after school
She caught me pounding on the desk with my hands
But my licks was so hot
I made the teacher wanna dance
And that's why
(chorus)

Listen to this
Every day when I get home from work
I feel so frustrated
The boss is a jerk
And I get my sticks and go out to the shed
And I pound on that drum like it was the boss's head
Because
(chorus)

I can bang that drum
Hey, you wanna take a bang at it?
I can do this all day

Welp, this has become a lonely place--I changed the backgrounds in General Sci-Fi and Fantasy, btw. For those who didn't like the "busyness" there this should be a welcome change. They were a bit cheesy and didn't really look good repeating on a large screen. The background here is now Gen. Sci-Fi's and the opening backgound is now Gen. Fantasy. Even Tam agrees that Fantasy is much, much better (looks like the is flying through the mountians!). *****

It has been quiet here lately.

We've been getting so much rain here the last few days. I wish we could send some to you out there in the dry Southwest, Danlo!!! ******************************************************

The new Wolfe forum is cool. If its previous incarnations are any indication, though, it won't draw much traffic. heh. ________________

Well, think of it as a good book. Perhaps it might not be read everyday, but it is there waiting on the shelf for anyone who wishes to experience it.

It's actually not raining today. It's cloudy, but not raining. Perhaps things might even dry out a bit.

Things look like they will be busy for a few weeks around here. This weekend there will be stuff going on, Memorial Day weekend we'll be heading out of town, the weekend after that will be Bigred's graduation, will all of the attending hoopla and social events, and the weekend after that we'll be on vacation for eleven days. So if I am not around very much, it is just that we will be very busy for awhile. <i></i>

I have to admit that I haven't been dropping by here as often, as it has gotten so slow and quiet. "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"<i></i>

I still have to make alot of adustments, but it will remain as long the Hangar exists. Wolfe is too damm good to not be discussed on this superhighway.

Too quiet eh MsM!? Should we make some noise!?

When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head
The first thing you do when you get up out of bed
Is hit that streets a-runnin and try to beat the masses
And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Spied a little thing and I followed her all night
In a funky fine levis and her sweaters kind of tight
She had a west coast strut that was as sweet as molases
But what really knocked me out was her cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Now go out and get yourself some big black frames
With the glass so dark thay wont even know your name
And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes:
Rhinestone shades or cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

I'm working on laudry today, as part of getting ready to take a trip out of town for Memorial Day weekend.

Made me realize that it is nearly a year since we have been hacked on Memorial Day weelend last year.

It's been a quiet year here at the Hangar, but we have survived. ******************************************************

The last few days have been ideal, climatically speaking. Daytime highs no more than the low 70s, and since my unit is an upstairs place well in the evening all the heat from the attic crawlspace makes its way into my place, and any heat rising from the bottom floor units ends up on me. Of course, this situation in the winter probably keeps me warmer. But the weather such a change from last weekend. taraswizard

Why is it, if we're setting records for daily visits, more folks aren't joining in on the fun? *****
