Well, I only play mahjong, but my sons love Sim City 4000 and Age of Mythology. Do you have any games you recommend?? Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell<i></i>

I used 2 play Graviton on other people's comps but that as about 10 years ago! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira<i></i>

My older son is really into his new game, the Sims, lately. The poor kid keeps accidentally killing off his families by doing things like leaving the stove on overnight and burning down their house. He's learned the first things to purchase are smoke detectors and burglar alarms. He has also learned that for his characters to get dates they have to have good personal hygiene! My son is enjoying the Sims so much we've added two of the expansion packs -- Sims Unleashed so his families can have pets, and Sims Vacation so his families can go on vacation.
He wanted Sims Hot Date, but I told him he'd have to wait a couple of years for that one. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

I am very addicted to Snood, which you can download for free at snood.com, and it's only about $15 to get the complete game with all the levels.

I admit to still playing Solitaire and Mindsweeper on our very old computer.

I used to go to a site called freearcade.com and play Javanoid and Fillit, but I can't get there without Java.

Does that dam miniature golf game @ the Ice Dome count?
If I one day tell you I put my fist thru my comp screen, it will be because of that game!

I play MS Golf - it is actually very relaxing, and the boy has a Tonka truck game called Dig'n Rigs - it is pretty fun. You can operate a bulldozer, crane, front loader & excavator Cripple but free; I was blind all the time I was learning to see<i></i>

Lately I've played a lot of ToME. It's a roguelike game which means it's an RPG which emphasizes gameplay over graphics and has a heavy random element. Dungeons are generated randomly and have (some specific cases excluded) random monsters and treasures. There are over a thousand different monsters races, some of which can have subtypes. There are also many playable races and classes. You can be a vampire hobbit necromancer or an ent monk just to mention two possible combinations. ToME is a remarkably rich Tolkien-themed game once you get past the graphics which are either crude or pure ascii. I prefer the ascii and getting to slaughter hordes of vicious alphabets. <i></i>

I was playing a PacMan game a lot for a while. I got it free on a CD I got when I renewed a magazine subscription (along with a bunch of other games). It was fun, and I beat all the levels on the "easy" setting, but I can't get too far at the regular setting, so I don't play as much as I used to. My latest game is Snoodoku, from the creator of Snood. It's sudoku puzzles using the Snood faces. Fun! "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"<i></i>
