I'm scared to read your post, but will do so when I finish in a day or two. Duchess's thread isn't scary, it helped me out reading her thoughts. I was probably a third of the way through the book (and enjoying it) when I opened up a few threads at KW and found out people hated the book. I was surprised. There are things that tick me off a bit (mainly, putting TC in a coma for most of the book), but I'm still liking it.

Danlo - the second half of the book is much better than the first for me, once things got moving. That first half was deadly for me, though. I wish I could have loved the whole thing the way you do.

I have no idea what people said at the Watch about the book. I do not even have access to the AATE forum.
