High Lord Kevin and Lord Foul

Last Chronicles Spoilers!

Now that we know Berek had one of the Insequent as a teacher, I am wondering if that affected the Land in a very bad way down the line.

As with all beings of great power, they seem to be "closed" to LandVision.

Did Kevin know that Berek had a powerful teacher who was "closed" to LandVision and therefore was more welcoming and less suspicious of good old A-Jeroth when he showed up at Revelstone?

It has never made a whole lot of sense to me that he let a very powerful stranger he could not "see" become a part of his Council.

Wasn't it explained somewhere (I forget where, so I'm going to spoiler just in case):
that Kevin distrusted A-Jeroth precisely because he was closed to health-sense? And then felt ashamed of that distrust, so compensated by showing him more trust that he usually would have?

That does sound familiar. :)

Still wondering about the other thing, though. Just how much would have been passed on about the Insequent and Linden for that matter to the later High Lords from Berek and Damelon?

It's an interesting question, that's for sure. Certainly the Theomach seems to have done his job well in manipulating myth, etc. But you get the feeling he plays the long game more than the short game. How much infulence he and Linden had on Berek and his children directly after the events in Fatal Revenant...as I say, interesting.

...but didn't A-Jeroth pass the test of truth? :?

Danlo, that is very true! But supposedly a powerful being can surpass the test IIRC from the test of Truth given to Covenant in LFB? :?
