my most favorites: Tattersail Coltane Duiker my least: Feather Witch Rhulad the Mhybe (spelling??) (I can understand her whining and she has great reasons for it, but still do not like to read it) my going back and forth character: Karsa at times I hate him, and other times really enjoy the hell out of him

Great thread! My 3 faves: Wow, tough choice. Fiddler Tehol & Bugg Karsa -- I loves me some Karsa! Not so much in the early going, but in the last couple of books he's been fascinating to watch. (I know that's 4. Leave me alone. )Also-rans: Shurq Elal Anomander Rake Crone And the caravan guard who turns into the tiger god's warrior dude -- can't think of his name right now Coltaine and Duiker are in there, too, and also Coltaine's uncle. And Quick Ben and Kalaam -- hell, *all* the Bridgeburners. My 3 least faves: Kallor That nasty little man who holds the professor as his sex-slave -- ugh, what a worm Taralack Veed -- altho he's showing some signs of coming around... Also-ran: Iskaral Pust, if only for the annoyance factor Rhulad strikes me as such a tragic figure that I can't muster up dislike for him. Ditto the Mhybe -- another tragic figure, tho I do wish she'd lighten up a little.

Sounds like you're talking about Covenant. Yeah, Karsa certainly grew!My favorites are: Anomander Rake, Coltaine, Crippled God, Duiker, Fiddler, Gothos, Itkovian, Kalam, Kallor, Kilava, Kruppe, Onos T'oolan, Osric, Pran Chole, Quick Ben, Silanah, Toc the Younger, Trull Sengar, Whiskeyjack... |
