drink:
fresh squeezed orange juice and orange smoothies
eat:
hummus with fresh piping hot pita bread
meat pies (lamb)
lamb kibbie
falafal

no room for dessert!

Today (yesterday now), I had an A&W papa burger with root beer. Hadn't been to A&W in several months, so I really relished the burger. Don't know if I mentioned it before, but at one time I could not stand root beer. Now it's one of my favorite soft drinks. Go figure.

I've never been to an A&W, and there was one in Ocala, last time I checked the website for locations. I really should make the drive down there and give them a try one of these days.

I don't care for A&W off the shelf, or from a fountain at a fast food place. Is the fountain A&W at an A&W restaurant any different? The only root beer I ever liked was from a barrel tap being rolled around at a medieval fayre many years ago. It was thick, and foamy, and... just luscious!

I do like bottled birch beer though.

MMMM. The best is little local micro bews of root beer. Like in Chicago you can get Cubby Bear Root Beer. MMMMMMM.

The fresh local fruit crops are starting to come in. :mrgreen:

So we made pancakes with fresh blueberries and cherries this morning. :cloud:

BLT on rye at Sam's which is actually really called What a Grind. He makes em perfect. Had one yesterday too. He toasts the bread, puts the perfect amount of mayo on, uses romaine hearts and stacks it full of low fat turkey bacon with thin sliced tomatos. I know. Turkey bacon. I never thought I would like it until I ate it at Sam's. I didn't even know until a few weeks later when Lucimay asked him what brand/kind of bacon it was. I have taken three people to eat the BLT's at Sam's now and they all agree his BLT's rock. My friend was visiting from England and he says he misses Sam's sandwiches. Yummers.
