Over the last few months I have been given quite a library of books by Dean Koontz (in fact, I was given "double copies" of one of the books ).

Being both a bit lazy, and unfamiliar with this author, I haven't started the huge stack yet.

I have been told that they are all unconnected, and I can read them in any order, which does please me.

I thought I'd start a thread so people can talk about Koontz if they want, and where I can post reviews of the books as I get to them.

The titles include:
Watchers
From the Corner of His Eye
Odd Thomas
Winter Moon
The Door to December (2 copies)
Seize the Night
Icebound
Intensity
The House of Thunder
Strangers
Shadowfires
The Servants of Twilight

I think I might read Watchers first, simply because it is about dogs... ******************************************************

I have indeed begun Watchers.

So far there are three strands of the story.

The first involves a very lonely man who goes hiking in the mountains in southern California. While there he meets a remarkable stray dog who seemingly saves his life. Needless to say, he takes the dog home with him.

The second strand involves a psychopath who is a hired killer.

The third strand seems to be about a 30ish woman who spent most of her life being emotionally abused, and is just starting to realize that she is free.

And, yes --so far I am really enjoying the book, especially the story about the golden retriever.

I have finished Watchers. While the serial killer parts were a bit icky for me, I did really enjoy the book. The dog, Einstein, was just wonderful!!

I've read another of the Koontz books.

This time it was Odd Thomas. A twenty year old guy works as a diner cook, has a wonderful girl friend and soul mate in a pretty girl named Stormy, and sees ghosts.

The latter can make his life pretty complicated.

Odd is a loving and gentle soul, and I really enjoyed his story. ******************************************************
