Ahira's Hangar

I know at least aliantha, Sky soon, and probably some other folks have read The Broken God. So I believe it's time to begin a discusion of the great book. It's late so I will post below some food for thought to get the discussion going-unless someone else beats me to it! If you have not read this book--please beware that SPOILERS WILL ABOUND--and if you would like to or are planning to read this book I encourge you to make the effort to find (I know it's a little difficult) and read Neverness first. Not only is Neverness a fantastic book--but you will definately understand and appreciate The Broken God that much better if you do!

Yes very weird things happen to Danlo in The Wild--the mastery and sheer poetic beauty of Zindell's style totally blows me away in that book! (I brought Ede in a little holographic box to help me face the madness and depravity of the manswarm! ) If you think Danlo's mind has been messed with ain't seen nuthin' yet! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.
