Well, like the old Chinese curse says, we're living in interesting times.

We're living on the cusp of history, when the future of the world may well be decided.

And you know what? It's great.

I'd rather live in interesting times than bring ones.

But it seems like a lot of things are really on the verge of tipping one way or another. Ideological conflict, (on the surface anyway) seems more popular than ever before.

The worlds eco-systems are on the verge of collapse, the climate is changing, and yet all that is being done it seems is arguing about it.

I am, as I've said before, an optimist in a screwball kinda way...either we'll sort it out or we'll die horrible lingering deaths.

Well, this thread can be about either. How is the world changing/ Why is it changing? What the hell is going on? What should we be worrying or not worrying about?

If you think you know, then tell us about it right here.
