Ok, I admit it: I respect the game of golf and would rather play it than watch it. I have only played 3 times: once in Memphis, once in Pensacola and once in Portugal. I should play more often as I have a good natural swing. But after my Dad and I hit 3 balls in2 the pond on the opening hole in Estoril and then proceeded 2 knock the remainder of our balls in2 the Atlantic Ocean on the 6th--in high winds, laughing our asses off as we ran 4 the 19th hole!! I haven't picked up a club since...that was about 15 years ago. The true human being is the meaning of the universe. He is a dancing star. My husband tried to teach me and I think that I'm unteachable. You cannot believe the way we were screaming at each other! I'm glad no one called the police!
He took the kids out for the first time last summer when we were camping at a state resort park down in the mountains. The course was along the rim of a canyon! And it was overrun with deer and geese. So they lost balls down into the gorge, and Bulldog accidentally hit a poor goose with a ball, which flapped its wings and hissed at him, but seemed to be OK. They seemed to enjoy it a lot.

I am, by no means, good at the game. I went out Sunday for the first time this year and shot 59 for 9 holes. But that isn't the point. The point is to go out and have a good time. If you go out and think that you can be Tiger, your going to get frustrated with the game. :"> I get out about 10 times a year, I'm not very good, but I have a good time. I love to golf... I totally suck, avg. about 128 or usually a triple bogey, was playing 2 times or so a year, haven't played at all in 2 years... must change that this 2009!

I had only one birdie in my life, and it was GLORIOUS! Hit and stuck all three strokes on a par 4 and I couldn't stop smiling for, well. *cough* until my next tee shot
