I could have just as easily made this post in my Dairy of a Mad Fantasy Fanatic thread. With 5 fantasy football teams, and just done with 3 fantasy baseball teams, fantasy basketball and the NBA just don't appeal to me whatsoever. I worked very hard to improve at baseball this year, but I still don't totally get basketball.

What's made me take notice of the NBA, however, is that my Suns are playing some blistering ball! 8-1 and knocked off the Celtics? Granted they haven't played Los Angeles, San Antonio and Dallas yet, but still wow! Their acquisitions of Channing Fyre and Jason Richardson (a great 3 pt shooter) make them a highly interesting team this year, I'm really worried about their depth-one key injury and it could look bad.

One team that's been playing very well without their superstars is San Antonio-Ginobli, and others have really picked up the slack with Duncan and Parker out. Will the James/O'Neil combo propel the Cav's to the championship? Will the young, developing Trailblazers shake up the league with Brandon Roy and a healthy Greg Oden? Are the Hawks and Bucks better? Will Denver strike gold? Can Ben Gordon light up Detroit, while Iverson cries on his new team's bench? Many questions will be answered this season.

Not much interest here, but the playoffs are starting to get exciting-I think Orlando just swept, despite Dwight Howard being in foul trouble all the time, Celtics and Cavs are cruising, Atlanta's in a little trouble but should be OK. In the west my Suns are in a bloodbath with Portland, but lead 3-2, OK is tied with the Lakers and giving them fits-it would be so hilarious to see Kobe go down in the 1st round. San Antonio looks prepared to take down Dallas and make Mark Cuban shut his big fat mouth and Utah's looking pretty good at this point, but the Nuggets still have plenty of firepower.

My husband is very worried about his beloved Lakers. OK is giving them all they can handle...

Boston and Orlando in the Eastern finals. All sorts of bizarre rumors already starting about the future of free agent super star LeBron James after Cleveland was eliminated.

That's all they talk about now, Lebron this, LeBron that...Meanwhile Boston bounced Orlando hard yesterday in game one of the eastern Championships. Tonight it's game one of the Western: Suns/Lakers goooooo s!!!

Ouch that game hurt! Do me a favor and play defense in game two Suns!

Lakers v. Celtics in the finals (YAWN).

Series tied up 1-1, heading to Boston.

As a Knicks fan growing up and a current Suns fan I'd have to say that I hate these teams equally. Kevin Garnett is the only player I like on either team...so if he stays consistent the Celtics should win one of two games in LA and win the series. It was fun seeing Kobe erupt after Boston went up 3-2.

So here we have tonight's final-since Kendrick Perkins is out with his knee injury there go the majority of the Celtic's rebounds and a sizable chunk of it's D. I agree with my new facebook friend and local DJ, Swami Rob: Lakers by 10.

It was my off night from work, so was stuck watching what might be the worst NBA finals game seven ever. What a boring and bad game.

Oh yeah - and the Lakers won.
