Boy, am I glad that I didn't watch the Michigan/Penn State game yesterday.

Michigan played a good game....in the first half.
They switched quarterbacks (why I do not know) for a while & that really threw them.
PSU really dominated anyway, so it prbably didnt matter much.

Ohio State's next - gotta win OSU & the rest of game to have a shot at national championship.

WE ARE...................................................PENN STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have two freshman quarterbacks, both of whom show flashes of occasional promise, and both of whom also periodically suck. So the coach switches them in and out, hoping one will be OK at any given moment. :razz:

The score was 49-0 at halftime-I heard it while I was driving and almost had an accident.

Well, UM sucked again this week - but Earthy's Penn State made me very happy by beating Ohio State. :sky:

Earthy - you know you guys have a chance to get to the national champion game now? :mrgreen:

That was the hardest game left on their schedule this season.

Yeah, if the pollsters & BCS computer don't screw us.
Basically, PSU has to win out & one of the top 2 teams need to loose, which is a realistic scenario, but you never know what happens in CF.
Maybe they give Paterno an extra vote, just cause he might not be around much longer...
Play at Iowa then finish out at home with Indiana, then Michigan State - all winable games...

Gators moved up to 5th (I think)
How can they jump Texas Tech over Penn State to #2 in the BCS poll???
Stupid computer - PSU is still undefeated. TT should have went to #3 with bama & PSU 1 & 2
(edit) A couple of the human polls had PSU at #2 & TT @ #3
Duchess - I saw a graphic that Michigan is missing a bowl appearance for the first time in 33 years.

Well, if this works, I'm going to get to watch my first Gator game of the season.

SEC games are carried on CBS, unless even CBS thinks it's not that important, in which case it is syndicated or occasionally picked up by ESPN. We don't have cable, so the only networks we get here are ABC and the UF PBS affiliate.

Tonight's game against Vanderbilt is on ESPN. But, it is also being shown on something called ESPN360.com. I just installed the plug-in required for FireFox. Here's hoping it works...
