Now that Menolly's in two of my leagues I better watch what I say here or she might get some free advice. Not that I'm that good a player. I've only won 2 championships in my 6 years, but, at least, placed every year. Got 2nd and 3rd in Watchers the first two years and then fell apart when we went 2WR/2RB/Flex-finally worked back, with keepers, to 4th place last year and am ready to move up again. Tough draft this Sunday. Went from 2nd to 10th last year in Sinners so really need to get it together. This Brandon Marshall thing is really starting to worry me...

I just joined my 5th league so have drafts in Yahoo Winners tomorrow, Watchers on Sunday and 5th league on Monday! Whew!

I thought you said the purpose of this thread was to give advice and tips to one another.
Ah well...the competition bug will hit me soon, perhaps.

Slightly off-topic...
Have you considered running a collegiate football pick'em game, danlo?
Maybe choosing one of the top-20 ranking systems to choose the games, so the numbers of games chosen is limited in some way?

Someone else is welcome to do it here, if there is interest. I'll be willing to try to spread the word, but doing the NFL picks game really takes it out of me. This Tuesday I'll be sending out notices re: the picks game off the Watch mass email and, again, the Hangar.

Well it's kind of hard to talk about your team and what you plan to do if you're in the same fantasy league as other members here. I think I'm in 3 leagues with Cleburne and 2 with Menolly. I do have one league, my Yahoo! Winner, that I can talk about without giving much away. I drafted a great team in that league: it's 1QB 3WR, 2RB no flex and I drafted (6th)

and the Minnesota D so I think I have a very good shot at winning it.

On the flip side I took a lot of chances in the Fanatics 16 team draft and, not only are those coming back to bite me already, but I seem to get hit with all the weirdness.
Chances:
Brandon Marshall-since suspended for insubordination, will start but out of shape, may sit out season as a "headcase" (seriously holding breath here)
Michael Crabtree-rookie has not signed his contract and hasn't practiced
Weirdness:
T. J. Duckett cut for Edgerin James-and Seattle appeared to favor him
Dominic Rhodes cut after Buffalo cried about how much they need him and he was sort of a safety net with Lynch (who I also have) suspended for 3 games. And the season hasn't even stated yet. Oy vey!
