Ahira's Hangar

Throughout the four books of the Hyperion/Endymion books, Dan Simmons paints pictures of many vivid worlds...I've listed a few here (as many as the poll allows ) in hopes that people might pick a favorite...of course, if your favorite is not listed, please go ahead and tell us which world it is, anyway.

I picked God's Grove---the environmentalist in me would love it! Plus: isn't supposed 2 have some of the best restaurants in the Hegemony? And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

OK - brought back the poll after the big board move, though I have not figured out how to bring back the prior results.

I voted other for the poet's house. I loved the idea of having a house with each room on a different world connected by farcasters.
