Which is your favorite of the boys in Summer of Night?

I would have to say for me it was Duane...he was such a good natured kid, and was so lonely in his brilliance...Mike would be a very close second -- I like him a lot as an adult in Children of the Night when he a truly good man...

I liked the kid brother, Lawrence, a lot, too.

Couldn't choose a favorite, but this ranks in my top 3 of coming of age tales. I haven't gotten around to reading IT by SK yet, but did see the tv movie. Compaing to the movie, this story is better. Would love to see it made into a movie.
