Well, it depends. If you like action/adventure and religion all mixed together with true love, definately go for the Hyperion /Endymion books. I don't know that movie with Kevin Bacon, so I don't know if it's the same story. I don't get into horror books or movies that much, so I'm not a good judge on that sort of thing. If you like really violent and sexy stuff, you might like the Hardcase book. One of my best buds at work adores the movie Pulp Fiction and says that this book is even better, but again, that sort of movie or book isn't my usual sort. I do know that I will never be able to walk on Goat and Luna Islands at Niagara Falls and look at them quite the same way again after reading Hardcase. It was actually sort of hard to review it, since it's not the sort of book I usually read...I don't know how it stacks up against books in the same genre. my sister, o my sister!
