Many many many many too many pilgrims trying to get on my trains...a lot of singing and dancing on the platforms, impromptu prayer sessions on the stairways which creates havoc with safety issues, but you feel like you're kicking a bunch of puppies if you try to move them away! we were expecting 150,000 at the first Mass last night, but we reckon more like 300,00 were there, and the Pope doesn't officially turn up till tomorrow, when 300,000 are expected! I'm so very very tired...this nice little rant has helped a lot though!

Well it's finally over and done with. Most of the railcorp staff worked flat out (some did 14 straight days which is actually illegal!) and we had no real dramas. Thankfully the 500,000 plus who went to the final mass were all well behaved, I shudder to think what that many drunken footy fans would be like!
As an added bonus my stupid computer decided to crash and burn so I thought sod you, you evil little machine, you're gonski. I've decided to become a vegetarian and buy an Imac. Never used one, no real idea of how they work, but I do know that they are virus free, so that's good enough for me! Shiftwork depending, I might be appletised as early as thursday, so wish me all the best.
I'm writing this in a scary internet cafe in Newtown, so I'm just quickly touching base, see you all properly soonest.
