Love the fall. The harvest. The blazing leaves. The cooler temps.

And it is here!

Tomorrow is my day off from work, and I will have to go to an apple orchard or cider mill, weather depending (it might rain).

I love the Autumn too. It's the most stable time of the year for my neck of the woods.

Spring's good too, anticipation of summer. But it's volatile! Yesterday was awesome, today's windy and crazy!

Not much change in Spring and Fall here in Gator Town.
But having spent the weekend in Manhattan and New Jersey with lorin, aliantha, Highdrake, and Xar I now understand a little better.
The temperature was glorious, even if it was a little overcast at times.
The company, even better!

I bet you guys had a wonderful time.

Did not go to the cider mill today, as it was chilly, cloudy, and drizzly. Hope to have better weather this coming weekend.

I don't know why, but I am so done with September, October's much spookier!

Elora Grace got her tonsils and adenoids out Monday (if you haven't been following this on Facebook or on the Watch) and they were much bigger than they expected. She was grumpy this morning, broke a fever last night and then slept forever. She's doing fine right now, but I better get her schoolwork and have a friend over before the big boredom sets in.

made it to the cider mill today for cider and donuts.

It feels like fall here in DC this week. The daytime temps are hovering in the 60s -- a titch cooler than I like, but after the summer we had, I am *not* complaining! It's supposed to warm up a bit later in the week -- highs in the 70s. Perfect!

We are having what amounts to a tropical storm today. Strong sustained winds with gusts up to 50-60mph, torrential rains, hail, tornado warnings all over the place. Really nasty weather.
